From Life on the Farm. Great way to start your day and have the benefits of turmeric and protein
Low fat, high protein shakes are great to have first thing in the morning, because they are super quick + healthy. Our orchard is over flowing with oranges at the moment, so this is a perfect way to use them up. I always like drinking these if I’ve had a large meal the night before, because I know it feeds my muscle’s and not my fat stores!
I used a whey protein powder for this shake today, but use what ever you like or have on hand! The vanilla gives this shake a really nice warmth and the orange + chocolate, well, say no more. Feel free to put in a tablespoon of coconut yoghurt or yoghurt for a thicker, creamier shake.
2.5 cups chilled filtered water (or milk)
2 large scoops of vanilla protein powder or of your choice
